Description
Stunning modernist chair designed for use in the newly renovated De La Warr Pavilion at Bexhill-On-Sea. The distinctive skid leg of this chair was created in response to the observation that many chairs, are first viewed from the rear.

BarberOsgerby chose to use an enclosed volume; a fluid form rather than a more usual leg type. This was adopted as a clear contrast to the hard lines of the De La Warr Pavilion's interior for which the chair was originally commissioned.

The cast aluminium used in the chairs construction was inspired by the balustrade and detailing of the original building.

Materials & Finishes
Cast and pressed aluminium, steel, nylon, foam upholstery.
Frame in powder coated (in white, black or may green) or vibro-polished aluminium. Upholstered seat available in a range of wool or leathers.
