The form of the Beam Light’s blown glass and spun aluminium shade represents the fall of light from a light source. The elementary shape is inspired by how a child might draw the action of light shining from a shade. Hecht has simply interpreted this idea into a three dimensional object. Materials & Finishes Powder-coated spun aluminium shade with frosted blown glass and powder-coated steel base.
