As part of a large-scale programme to renovate the building‘s interior, the project was led by Hella Jongerius, who created special furniture pieces for the lounge.
The Sphere Table combines a solid wood table with a large dome-shaped 'bubble' made of opalescent acrylic glass. The hemispherical screen can be attached to either the left or right side of the table, making it highly adaptable to individual needs. For this reason, the Sphere Table is ideal for the home office, where the bubble creates a private and sheltered space within a room.
The Sphere Table combines a futuristic-looking sphere with the familiar archetype of a traditional table and thus makes a statement in any environment.
