Nani Marquina, who studied industrial design at Escola Massana in Spain, found inspiration for her Roses rug in the fallen petals of the flower. The lyrical, witty surface provides a three-dimensional field of felted “petals” that invites touch.
Nani Marquina studied industrial design at the Massana school in Barcelona. In 1973 she began her activity at the Selles-Marquina Architecture Studio and soon opened a store, 'Self-Decor', dealing in interior decoration projects. It was here that she developed her first rug designs.
In 1987, she established the brand nanimarquina. Influenced by Nani's creative background and desire for innovative designs, the brand are an outstanding pioneer of modern and contemporary rugs.
