Designed to be wide enough to share or to sit on diagonally, the Ro Chair has been made with great craftsmanship and in the highest sustainable quality. The design of the shell is elegant and simple, pleasing both the eye and the body, and promises tranquillity in both visual expression and comfortable functionality. Furthermore, the form of the shell allows you to choose between taking part in what goes on in the room or relaxing in your own private space.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
