Iconic architect and designer Le Corbusier originally designed the LC19 Table Esprit Nouveau in 1925. The LC19 Table was the first ever production of a small table designed by Le Corbusier for Maison La Roche, and was the first in a series of metal furniture.The table was exhibited, with other furniture, at the 1925 Pavillon Esprit Nouveau in Paris, a major international exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts.It has a tubular brushed nickel-plated structure with tubular cross bars under the top, then is finished in matt transparent paint. It has a matt painted plate top in dark brown.
