The Cassina La Barca dining table extends by folding out the table top and the legs to support the top.
Born in Milan in 1939 and graduating in architecture in 1964, he set up a freelance practice working principally on housing and conservative restoration. Since 1969 he has been engaged in design and in 1975 started working in collaboration with Cassina. So began the La Barca programme, elements in natural birch-wood, which, assembled in different ways, go to form sofas, tables, and beds. Further designs followed, for Cassina and other producers, with particular reference to house furnishing, appreciated and displayed in various publications and shows.
