Originally designed in Tokyo by Charlotte Perriand in 1953 for her husband's house, this chair is a natural outgrowth of the structure of another "Ombra" chair created during the same period and making use of curved surfaces and ebonized wood.

Materials & Finishes
The seat is set on two legs of chromed-plated or black-lacquered steel aligned with the side panels. The cushions are loose with removable covers, padding in polyurethane and polyester wadding. Upholstered in soft leather.
