In the TMD case, the shaft is made up of a tubular stainless steel double section, with a matt plated finished of variable diameter, fixed by an elegant circle made up of the same material. The linen lampshade of a 330mm diameter is attached to the shaft by a metallic piece that has a vertical movement to enable it to be used in different situations and to avoid any glare. The shade's movement is controlled by means of a basic rubber system that slows it down and fixes it.
