The Fauteuil de Salon follows Jean Prouvé’s aesthetic principle of a clear language of necessity.
The Fauteuil de Salon from 1939 combines plain surfaces into a complete architectural form with a comfortable seat and backrest. Rediscovered in the archives of the French design engineer, the chair's colour was adapted for modern tastes in cooperation with Cathérine Prouvé and the Dutch fashion label, G-Star.

Materials & Finishes
Powder-coated sheet steel and tubular steel frame in basalt, seat and backrest cushion in polyurethane foam. Cover fabric 100% cotton. Armrests in oiled solid oakwood.
Off-white version comes with smoked oak armrest while the smoke grey version comes with natural oak armrests.
