Each week, we bring you something a little bit different from the last, whether it be the latest design news, a classic design revisited, a recent exhibition or trip or an exclusive guest edit from an influential designer or blogger. Remember, we love to hear your feedback, so why not let us know what you think about our blog posts by email or Twitter? Enjoy!
Whether you are looking to make a bold and colourful statement within your living space or create a cosy environment with traditional wood furnishings, there is something for everyone within our extensive collection.
We understand that everybody has different tastes, therefore we've focused on four relevant looks that significantly vary in terms of colours, forms and materials. These selections were curated in order to inspire, so don't be afraid to mix and match and make the look your own!
Achieve bold and lavish décor with crystal velvet upholstery, extravagant backrests, classic colours and grand silhouettes. The perfect sofas and lounge chairs to complete this sumptuous look can be found in Munna's established collection, which is comprised of furnishings made from only the highest quality materials. Established in 2008, the Portuguese design brand specialises in elegant upholstered goods produced through traditional manufacturing techniques and beholds a very distinctive image.

To compliment your sofa or lounge chair, try a timeless brass pendant or wall lighting from Bert Frank. Designed to last a lifetime, their sophisticated lighting tells a story by naturally softening and darkening over time, unless you choose to protect it. The Riddle Wall Light is lined with silk inserts for a gentle warming glow, whilst the Revolve Rise & Fall Pendant Light instantly becomes the focal point in any room.

The fine, fluid lines of these sculptural designs emphasise the structural elements of these otherwise simplistic forms. Menu's highly articulate collection is comprised of extremely lightweight steel furnishings with thin frame structures. They recently collaborated with Afteroom, a design duo intrigued by different forms, senses, proportions and materials.
Wood is the Scandinavian material of choice and soft oak or beech can help to create a more natural and homely feel within your home. Scandinavian design is primarily focused on durability and functionality, ranging from homely, rustic design to the contemporary and minimalist. Incorporate your wood products into soft environments with plenty of natural light or mix it up by contrasting with accent colours such as yellow or green. We particularly love the Menu Knot Trestle Table Natural Ash, which is cleverly held together with nothing but unsanded strips of leather.
Sea of blue
Blue doesn't have to be cold and uninviting. Different shades of blue can be mixed and matched to create a variety of moods, from demure indigo and navy to energetic cobalt and light blue. The Vitra Tip Ton Chair is a much-loved favourite thanks to its unique forward-tilt action and is available in vivid Glacier Blue and subtle Ice Grey.
